LINE COOKS is a coming of age mockumentary following Callie, a straight-A and sheltered college student who takes a job as line cook at a hole in the wall restaurant to secure a letter of recommendation… only to find out this Korean-taco joint is run by ex-cons and cartel members. Callie is spirited into the world of backroom restaurant cooks, startled by cigarette smoke and health hazards aplenty. Working alongside a take-no-shit mom-of-three manager, a trio of rebellious teens, an ex-cartel vet, and a dumpster rat named Carl, it’ll take all of Callie’s willpower to make it through her first shift, let alone an entire summer. Full of wit, fun, and OSHA violations, LINE COOKS follows an unlikely team of customer service heroes leading up to the dreaded health inspector’s visit at the end of the summer.
